The kitchen cabinet is in

Last wednesday, I had a few people in the unit. Most importantly, the kitchen cabinet guys came to install the cabinets. Unfortunately they couldn't finish everything within one day as planned.

My curtain supplier lady came by again for me to choose the timber blinds for the masterbedroom toilet.

I received delivery for the queen bedframe and mattress for Bedroom 2 and another delivery for some decorations.

This coming monday will be another important day. The kitchen cabinet guys will continue and finish off their work. The carpenter will install the masterbedroom cabinets - this is the last built in to come in. And the wallpaper guys will come by for installation too. My contractor will be there to touch up and clean up some stuff.

I expect by 2nd week of October to install the curtains and bring in another delivery for the masterbedroom bed, dining table, livingroom sofa and other furnitures. There was two nosey neighbors who popped into our unit and one of them made enquiries which made me uncomfortable. He came again later when my hubby was there (thank God) with a camera... the cheek of that asshole!

Works for this week

The contractor has suddenly restarted work at 226 after more than a week of halting work. This week's jobs are to paint up the plaster ceiling, put up all the remaining lights, paint the room walls, install the built in cabinets, install the wet kitchen windows. On my part, since he has given the "green light", I have called an ID to order the iron wrought grill door for the main entrance, and also made an appointment to do the timber flooring for the lanai area.

Today hopefully I can finalise the wall paper. By next week I hope to finalise the curtains and blinds for the unit.

Truly exciting to go thru this phase and even more excited to see the place metamorphozize in the next one month.

Oh, the only screwed up thing is that IKEA still doesn't have the stock that we want, so looks like I may have to call in our other carpenter to do the "emergency" rescue.

Here are some pictures
