What a productive day

Today MIL helped watched the kids whilst Hubby and I quickly run some errands for 226. We received delivery for another aircon, dryer, hob hood and oven today and also see the repair work from the management on our front and maid's toilet door. I briefed the worker on where to put the lights and fan, since our contractor couldn't make it last minute. The progress for Day 2 is pretty good. Oh ya, forgot to mention that they started plaster ceiling work on Wednesday.

Hopefully by tomorrow all the lights will be up. I've got the color chart and need to pick some colors for the two smaller rooms. After 226, we went to IKEA to pay for the wardrobe but their stock have not arrived, so we bought whatever we could first, and will have to wait. This time, I better call first to make sure their stock is in, else wasted trip again. AFter IKEA, we went to Cellini's at Subang and got very good deal for the L-sofa, king sized bed frame and then saw the most perfect, most ideal dining table... tempered black glass top with ruby red fabric chairs with steel legs. So modern, and I couldn't ask for more. Changing from round to rectangular table was only because of the positioning of the downlights, less hassle and I didn't think I'd get such a beauty. But God is great. And full of surprises.

Then we decided to pick their king sized mattress, the lady threw in two free pillows, two free bolsters, I got 7 mini cushions free, and also decided to get a bean bag instead of a free bedside table.

Target delivery end September, hopefully by then the built ins are done. Still waiting for the quotation though. The one from the interior designer downstairs, we decided just for our info, know what the competitors charge and that's it.

Abit upset that the market is still soft, and the asking rental for unit this size is only RM5k plus minus, but all hope is not lost. One unit upstairs got RM8k and that's a great deal. I've seen their unit, nice, tasteful, but just wait... I think 226 can be better... only pray hard that the ROIs are just as good.
